Retreat Services
Chris brings 30 years of experience to his work leading and facilitating transformational retreats for individuals, groups and organizations in times of change and growth. He has been privileged to facilitate over 10 homecoming retreats for California State Prison parolees via the Anti-Recidivism Coalition at Wolf Connection ranch, a wolf-dog sanctuary outside Los Angeles. For 15 years, he co-facilitated boys’ initiation retreats in collaboration with Youth Mentoring Connection. He has led staff retreats for a wide range of organizations and businesses including the Arts for Healing & Justice Network, the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, and Snap. He also hosts an annual men’s retreat, “The Maine Thing: A Gathering of Guys,” at his home on the midcoast of Maine. Chris uses ritual, storytelling, poetry, music, meditation and heart-centered presence to inspire self-reflection and open pathways to healing, awakening, and community for all.
